I booked Le Royce for one night because of its location, and it was a terrible experience. The superior deluxe room was okay, but traffic noise came through all night. Around 2am, a woman yelled in the hallway for nearly an hour, and the staff couldn’t control it at all. The hotel felt like a shady OYO room despite its fancy name. There was no hot water in the morning, just a trickle, and when I checked out to leave for good, other cars were blocking mine and they had no driver to move them. I don’t recommend it at all, especially for women who might feel unsafe.

The first time I stayed, a cleaner entered my room without being asked, so they need to respect guests’ privacy. They also charge for bottled water, even though they could provide it free. The rooms are decent and have a semi-luxury feel, with a cozy atmosphere and a pleasant smell throughout. The hotel keeps up with timely cleaning, reception responds quickly to requests, the TV works, including the sports channels, and hot water is available in the first half of the day.

The room was decent, but the way we were treated ruined the stay. Visitors weren’t allowed, and nobody told us in advance. When I had a visitor for just two hours, they charged ₹16,00 as “extra charges.” It felt like they were trying to exploit guests for money. The behavior was unprofessional and unethical. I wouldn’t recommend Le Royce Hotel unless they improve their transparency and how staff treat people. Guests deserve honesty, not hidden rules and overcharging.

The reception team were friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome, with helpful suggestions for restaurants and local attractions. The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed, flat-screen TV and coffee maker. I appreciated the complimentary bottled water and the luxurious bathroom with a rain shower. Housekeeping kept the room spotless each day. Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of fresh choices, including pastries, fruit, hot dishes and freshly brewed coffee. Restaurant staff were attentive and kept everything stocked. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore the city, with major attractions within walking distance and public transport easy to access. I stayed at the Hotel Le Royace Hotel for three nights recently, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The Grand City Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I’m looking forward to coming back on my next trip!
