OYO 9533 Hotel Milind Villa

The place is fairly cheap, has a nice AC, and serves decent tea plus some basic food for a price. That’s the good part. It’s off the highway, though, and you can’t get there by autorickshaw, so you’ll need a cab or your own transport. My bedsheet was dirty. While waiting for my friend at checkout, I noticed the sheets hadn’t been changed for the next guest either. They also gave me refilled water bottles instead of fresh ones.

We had booked a month ahead and paid in full, but when my family and I arrived three days ago, the manager and staff behaved badly and wouldn’t give us a room. The manager demanded another 2k in cash, and when we refused, turned us away. The manager and one staff member were fully drunk and talking rubbish. I worry there may be illegal activity there, though I can’t say for sure. Please don’t risk your money or safety by staying at MILIND VILLA, BAVDHAN, PUNE,411021.

It’s in a very secluded spot, with barren land all around, and the management seemed inexperienced. They offered us a room without an intercom and wouldn’t hand over the room keys; later, they moved us to another room. The staff seemed very amateur. I wouldn’t call the stay bad, but it definitely wasn’t pleasant, and I wouldn’t recommend the place.

I booked through OYO and ended up with a very small room. They apparently offer bigger ones if you book directly with them. It feels more like an upgraded lodge than a hotel, with extremely high prices. They charged Rs. 400 for checking in just two hours early. It seemed like they were just there to make money and weren’t interested in service.
