The Paradise Aundh

We were there in October. The rooms were spacious and clean, though the hotel looks a bit old. It's a calm place without city noise, but I think it's a little outside the city. We didn't eat there, so I can't say what the food is like. There are restaurants nearby, maybe a 10-minute walk away. There's an ungated parking space beside the hotel, though I'm not sure if it belongs to the hotel. One plus is that it's on a dead-end road, so you can park beside the road too.

The photos set one expectation, but the place didn’t match them when I arrived. I’m really unhappy with the stay, especially after booking for a long visit.

For what I paid, the room at The Paradise Hotel, Aundh was clean and comfortable, and the price was lower than other hotels nearby. I stayed two days and had a good experience overall. Service was polite and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty. My early checkout at 7:45 AM was a problem because breakfast doesn’t start until after 8:30 AM. Some staff were still asleep, so I missed the included meal. Housekeeping also didn’t clean my room when I locked it to go out unless I specifically asked. They didn’t have a comb when I requested one, either. It still does a decent job for a budget hotel, with decent facilities and good service. Worth considering for a low-cost stay in Aundh.

I almost never post Google reviews, but this stay was bad enough that I had to. We booked three nights and left on the first day after only about 20 minutes. The photos showed nothing like the actual hotel, and even my Uber driver was shocked by the exterior. The rooms were cramped, dirty, and dated. The location was awful, right near a rubbish heap. I don’t know where the glowing reviews are coming from. I’d stay away from this dump and advise others to do the same.
