The management was completely unprofessional. They didn’t honor a booking made well in advance and sold the booked rooms to whoever offered more money. They left families stranded on the road on a cold night without caring.

The location is awful and far outside Alandi. If you don’t have your own vehicle, good luck finding transport. I paid about 1400 for a non-AC room, even though AC rooms in Pune city can cost as little as 1000. There were mosquitoes everywhere, making it hard to sleep. The staff weren’t rude, but they were dismissive and unresponsive. I felt completely ripped off, but I’d arrived late and had no other option. Unless it’s your last resort, skip it. The room was barely worth 700, yet they charged more than double.
I stayed at Ramesh Inn on July 18 and 19, 2019, then moved to a private room at Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan Alandi Trust. The Trust room was much more spacious and cost about half as much. For the same money, I’d choose it over Ramesh Inn. Ramesh Inn was unhygienic, with lots of ash flies and mosquitoes. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone traveling with family or friends.
The bathroom was dark and shabby, and I wouldn’t recommend this as a stopover, especially for families with children or anyone who cares about food. We ordered three plates of Masala dosa and two plates of dosa while heading to Bhimashankar. The dosas were very thick, and the masala tasted bad. The sambar and white chutney smelled bad and were very sweet. We couldn’t manage anything else, but since we’d left home without breakfast and were hungry, we ate the dosa. It ruined our mood.
We stopped for a quick breakfast on the way to Bhimashankar jyotirlinga, but it wasn’t worth the price. Service was okay, though very overpriced. The white chutney with the dosa was sweeter than honey, and the sambar was hotter than red mirchi. The tea was fine. The hotel guys next door, who have the same name, let us use their ground floor toilet but seemed to expect a tip.
