The Ark Apartment Hotel

The rooms are cozy, and the view from them is lovely. This apartment hotel is very clean, with a great atmosphere. The staff are polite and helpful, room service is quick, and the food is tasty and affordable. You can check in and relax at any time.

They serve refreshing water with fresh mint at reception, which is a nice touch. The staff are cooperative, and the atmosphere feels classic. The hotel rooms are converted two-bedroom apartments, so it feels a bit like being at home away from home.

The manager was rude, full of ego, and wouldn’t listen when I raised an issue. They charge Rs. 100 per plate to use the hotel’s plates, so using them three times in a day would cost Rs. 300. When I complained, the manager told me to wash the plates and return them myself. The restaurant is overpriced too, and so is the hotel. My stay here was really awful.

It has a nice atmosphere and good rooms, and staying there felt like being in a mobile room. The staff were good, but the manager seemed odd and didn’t know how to greet guests. He welcomed us in a low mood, with no smile or friendly gesture. I’m giving it four stars because they charge Rs. 100 for an extra plate, which is far too much.
