The rooms were clean, the ambience was good, and the cleaning service was well done. Staff behaviour was normal, kitchen facilities were available, and the charge was very affordable. It’s a little far from the sea beach and there’s no restaurant, but for this price range it’s very good.

The clean rooms and generator were welcome, especially when the power went out. But the stay had plenty of drawbacks. Hotel New Moon, beside New Kakatua Restaurant in Puri, offers lodging only, with no dining options. RO drinking water was available, though we had to fill it ourselves. There was no electric kettle or tea/coffee setup in the room either. The Wi-Fi they promised was unreliable, and there was no room service. Reception staff were often absent, which left us without proper help and made the lack of professionalism hard to overlook.

Rooms are good, but there’s no balcony, so dry your wet clothes in the room or on the roof. It’s very far from the sea beach. Room service is very, very baddddd. There’s power backup, but it only works depending on their mood. No lift. Rude behaviour and clean romm are their only prestige, nothing else.

Good environment, and the room was very good, need and clean.
