Goroomgo Rukmini Villa Puri

Everywhere smelled bad, and mosquitoes were all over the place. The manager’s behavior was hard to deal with, and the staff weren’t helpful. I booked three nights but couldn’t even manage one. I’ve never stayed in such an irritating, dirty hotel.

My train was due around 5 am, so I asked the owner if an early check-in might be possible. They said check-in before 9 wasn’t available and asked for extra money. That left my wife and me facing four hours in an unfamiliar place. When I said hotels should be able to make room for emergencies, the owner refused and spoke rudely. There was no basic cooperation from the hotel, and I’d tell anyone reading this not to book it.

I booked two deluxe double rooms, but one didn’t even have an attached bathroom. The rooms smelled bad, were filthy, and had sheets and blankets that looked as if they hadn’t been washed in years. The bathrooms were unhygienic, and there’s no parking. Photos on Agoda and other booking sites aren’t reliable, so check the rooms in person before booking. Nearby hotels offer better facilities for similar prices, and this place fell far short of what I expected. I contacted Agoda and GoRoomGo customer care. Agoda tried to arrange a refund, but the hotel refused. GoRoomGo stopped replying to my complaint even though I provided evidence. This experience could ruin your holiday.

We arrived at midnight, after the 10:30 pm closing time, and they still opened the door for us. The receptionist was helpful, and the staff provided the basic amenities we needed. The rooms were clean and well kept. Weekday AC rooms cost 1200 per night.
