The food was tasty, with less oil, and the service was really good. Ananda helped us whenever we needed anything, from a pin to whatever else came up. All the staff were polite, helpful, and understanding. We stayed as a family and were pleasantly surprised by the value for the price. We’d booked non-sea-view rooms, and they were cleaned regularly. Everything was dust-free, from the mats and bed covers to the sofa and every table. The hotel is only about a minute from the beach. I’d recommend staying here.

The main problems were the AC and the power backup. The air conditioning in our sea-facing room didn’t work properly, so we had to move to another sea-facing room, which was inconvenient and seemed like a maintenance issue. The area also had frequent power cuts. The hotel’s generator backup didn’t seem powerful enough, as only the fans worked during load shedding and the ACs stopped running. The rooms got uncomfortable, especially in the warmer hours. On the plus side, the food was tasty, the service staff were polite and cooperative, and the sea-facing rooms had lovely views and were comfortable. My stay at Sea View Residency was a mixed experience.

The beach is just 200 metres from the hotel, though it’s a little outside the upmarket area and the price is a bit high. Ananda, the caretaker, and the other staff were very good to us. I stayed there with my child, and Ananda took great care of her, arranged special food, and helped me with whatever I needed, always with a smile. I’ll definitely stay here again for the way they treated us.

The food was excellent, and the location and ambiance were good. The staff’s behavior and the cleanliness were the best parts for me. Ananda’s smile and cheerful manner made me stay and enjoy the trip, even though I’d considered leaving because of the room rent and the toilet condition. Please repair the toilet flush in room 403. One more thing, there’s no lift, even though the Booking.com app says lift facility is available. That gave a very bad impression. I had a great time and would recommend the hotel, but not through an app.
