Clarks Safari Pushkar

Mukesh Suraj made our stay comfortable and memorable with his positive attitude, polite manner, and readiness to help. He's a real asset to the hotel, and I hope his hard work and professionalism earn him a well deserved promotion. We had a warm, pleasant experience and I'd recommend the hotel.

There's a lot of open space here, including plenty of places for kids to play, and it's peaceful, set away from town. The property and location have real potential, but maintenance needs attention. We had basic issues like hot water, and the rooms could use paint and better upkeep. The restaurant and food were just okay. Breakfast was limited, though it tasted fine. We stayed in peak season, but the hotel seemed less than half full. They could do more to bring in guests.

The calm, close-to-nature setting was a big part of our memorable stay at Clark’s Safari, Pushkar. It's peaceful but still conveniently placed near Ajmer and Pushkar, and we felt well looked after from check-in through checkout. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Our spacious room was clean and comfortable, with an ambience that suited the surroundings. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, with a good range of choices. The property's cleanliness and attention to detail stood out throughout. A comfortable place to relax and unwind near Pushkar. We'd happily visit again.

The location was easy to reach, but apart from that our stay was deeply disappointing and nowhere near worth the price. We paid around ₹12,000 + GST per night for a family room that was surprisingly cramped, especially for a family. Before we drove from Gurugram to Pushkar, I called to ask if they could arrange a bonfire near our room and was told clearly that they could. When we arrived, staff said it would cost ₹1,200 + GST for 2-3 hours, a charge nobody had mentioned earlier. Later they refused to put it near the room, saying bonfires aren't allowed in clustered areas, even though there was an open lawn and garden nearby. We had kids with us, and the poolside lawn was very far from our assigned rooms. When we asked if we could at least sit by the bonfire area with our own drinks, they said outside drinks weren't allowed. That ruined the relaxing family break we had planned and felt like a waste of time and effort. Breakfast was the worst part. There were only two or three items, and they were cold, stale, and poor quality. The puri was thick and uncooked, the poha was cold, and the last idli was dry and overcooked. Those were the only three items, at a five-star price. Omelettes and pancakes had also been cooked well in advance and left in the serving area. There was no cutlery on the tables. When we asked, they put it on the table without tissues or napkins. Hygiene didn't seem to be considered at all. For a property charging so much, the food standards were shockingly low. Poor communication, commitments that weren't kept, restrictive policies, bad food, and overpriced rooms made the stay extremely disappointing. Apart from the location, nothing met expectations. I wouldn't recommend it, especially to families.
