The food felt homemade, fresh, and authentic, much nicer than typical commercial fare. The hosts and staff were warm and polite too, so it felt like visiting a friend's home. The surroundings are lovely, and the locality seems safe and well looked after. The roads are smooth, making it easy to reach even in a small car. Highly recommended.

I stayed in the premium wing, where the view is even better. The property is vast, but the golf carts with in-house chauffeurs make it easy to get around. Gardens, lawns, and pools are all very well maintained, and the rooms are luxurious, with excellent service and great food. Built from an old fort, it still keeps its original facade. Right beside the Ganges, it's a romantic luxury resort and a perfect weekend escape from Kolkata. It would also suit corporate gatherings, weddings, and other events. No doubt, five star.

We made lovely memories here with the family. The calm atmosphere, river views, and beautiful architecture made the stay feel special, and the staff took good care to keep us comfortable. Ganga Kutir, Raichak seems ideal for a celebration or simply spending time with people close to you. We'd love to come back.

The evening by the river stayed with me: tea and snacks in the garden, with local Baul song, made it nostalgic and memorable. The unexpected Ganga Arti was a lovely final surprise. Thanks to the restaurant manager for giving us a special rate. Ganga Kutir (Ex - Ffort Radisson) is close to Kolkata and offers splendid views, a lovely ambience, and fine dining in its restaurants. The welcome was refreshing and reflected Taj Group hospitality. Resort transport was well coordinated, and the staff were neat, clean, well mannered, and always smiling. A great experience.
