Hotel Santoshi Novatel

The location was bad, and the room had no hot water or working AC for cooling. The ambience was awful too. Families looking for a pleasant atmosphere should avoid booking here.

The corridors and lifts need proper maintenance. The rooms were clean, while the washrooms were only partly clean.

We booked three rooms, and none of them was clean. The bathrooms were awful, and there was no hot water. They said they were saving it. No toothpaste, brushes, or shampoo were supplied; when we asked, the staff said management policy was not to provide them, despite charging 2300 per room. They only brought all-out after we asked. Watch out for bed bugs. There were no tower bolts to lock the doors, the AC worked only sometimes, and the fans were noisy with dimmers that couldn’t be controlled. The rooms were dirty and the bathrooms were the worst. Avoid this hotel.

The room and beds were good, and the hotel is right in the city centre. The bathroom was in rough shape, though, and the mirror above the basin was so old you could barely see your face. There were no toiletries or tea and coffee sachets for the kettle. It’s just so-so, and I wouldn’t choose it for a family visit.
