We finally got a room after arguing for 45 minutes. It was 5 AM, and we'd come to Raipur with my family for an exam. This was the nearest hotel to the bus stand, and its rating was high, so we booked for two people and paid online. At check-in, they demanded another 1000 rupees as an advance. There weren't any other options at that hour. The room was tiny, filthy inside and out, had no lock on the inside of the door, and came with no towels or toiletries. The lobby was where the nightmare began, and the rest of the hotel and staff were just as disgusting. It's a rip-off and a mistake I won't make again. I'm still waiting for a call from Oyo or the hotel manager to apologize, though the front desk made me think they'll do nothing. This isn't a place for families. Stay away if you want to feel safe and have a clean room.

The manager wouldn't accept online payment, and I wasn't given a receipt for the cash payment. The original offer was about rs. 750/-. The Oyo message said rs.1001/- because I checked in before 12 pm, but the hotel charged 30% more on top of that, making it rs.1360/- instead of rs. 1001/-. The owner charged me extra money fraudulently. Very bad experience.

They said breakfast would be complimentary, then denied it in the morning. I checked in at 2100 P.M. and asked for a 24-hour stay, so I expected to be able to leave at 2100 P.M. the next day. Instead, at 10:00 A.M. they started telling me to check out by 11:00 A.M. because someone else had booked the room, and that 11:00 A.M. was their checkout time. There was no hot water, the room and bathroom stank, the staff were untrained, and the TV didn't work. Very bad experience.

I booked through the app for Rs 503 and had already paid, but the receptionist refused to let me in, saying they no longer accepted online bookings and only took walk-ins. He said that room cost Rs 900. OYO customer care never answered when I tried calling. When I pointed out that the hotel was still listed for online booking and using OYO's name, he said they'd applied to OYO to close online bookings but OYO hadn't done it yet. It felt like he was trying to make money in a really lousy way. The TV never works, and there's no Wi-Fi.

They charged me 500rs. just for having visitors in my room. Later I found out that this wasn't in OYO's policy. They lied about it and promised to email me a copy of the bill, but never sent it. I don't want to abuse them, but they don't deserve it.
