Hotel Shree Jee

The kitchen opens late, around 08.00 am, so you can’t get morning tea, and kettles aren’t provided. The bathroom fixtures are very good, but maintenance is poor and the showers are jammed. A tube light in one of our rooms wasn’t working. They promised several times to fix it, but it still wasn’t done by checkout.

The restaurant was somewhat okay, but the stay was a waste of money. From the outside the hotel looks good, while inside it was horrible: dirty rooms and toilet, no towels, and old torn blankets with a foul smell. The AC didn’t work, room service was poor, and they supplied ordinary water in a Kinley bottle with the seal broken. There was disturbance at night and paint smell from the walls being painted. The chair was too dirty to use, and there were lots of cockroaches.

The location is the only good thing. Rooms were unclean, the linens were very old, and the place needs a major revamp because none of the AC units worked well. Food was okay, but service was pathetic and staff were totally unprofessional. By no standard is this a three star property. I wouldn’t recommend staying here with family, as safety may be an issue.

We went to the hotel restaurant for lunch on 08.11.2025 with my senior. After we ordered and waited half an hour, staff told us they couldn’t complete the order, so we left without eating. I felt humiliated in front of my senior. The bathroom was unclean too. Not recommended at all.
