Planning a wedding here this November was a horrible experience. The Holiday Home completely ruined it, and I would never recommend hosting a wedding function here. The hotel is very old, and the catering waiter was totally unprofessional. The manager kept delaying putting our deal in writing, saying not to worry and that they’d handle it. When it was time to pay, they changed their position. Mohit Nursery and Sanjay were handling things as the manager, and they cheated us on the price. They also tried to scam us on the GST bill. They charged for the bridal and groom room even though it was supposed to be complimentary. I’ve attended weddings at Lemon Tree and Radison blu, and this was the first time I’d heard of that. The decoration under Mr. Uttam was still incomplete at 9pm, and the premises weren’t clean until we’d made hundreds of calls. The DJ used Youtube, saying his laptop was damaged. That wasn’t our fault. He was totally illiterate and played random songs with no context.

The rooms are spacious, clean, good, and well maintained. The food wasn’t so great, though. The taste and quality need improvement.

The service was the worst part, absolutely pathetic. The rooms are shabby, things in them are broken, and the food was awful too. I wouldn’t book this place for a wedding or a restaurant meal. Ranchi has plenty of other good hotels and banquet halls. Choose this one at your own risk.

There was a bad smell in the room, and the walls were damp, with mould in several spots. A lot of the furniture was broken, and the showers didn’t work properly. The rooms are in poor condition. I don’t recommend this hotel.
