OYO 22777 Sagar Palace

The manager was rude and didn't know how to deal with guests, and the staff's behavior was awful. Basic facilities were missing, and the cable TV didn't work. If you leave the hotel, they keep your keys. Even after showing my original ID and handing over a photocopy, they wanted to hold on to my original ID until checkout. I complained to OYO customer service and got no response. I saw the manager mistreating a couple too, so I wouldn't recommend booking here. I'm very disappointed with OYO for listing places like this.

There was no water supply at the hotel, and the service from both the hotel and Oyo was pathetic. Customer care didn't answer my problem, though I did manage to get a refund. I learned to inspect a hotel before paying for a booking online.

The website photos showed a very different place from the poor condition of the room I got. There were lots of mosquitoes inside, the food was really bad, and room service took over 1.45 hours to bring my order. Staff weren't comfortable talking freely, and the service was poor. The AC was in bad shape too. Even set to 16 degrees, the room fan kept running. I booked two nights but left after just one. Check all the details before booking. OYO's history for the room looked good, but my one night there was very bad.

The cupboard was in a very poor spot, and the rooms and bathroom were in bad condition. The TV didn't work, and the Wi-Fi was down most of the time. Food was poor quality and very costly. The manager and staff were rude and arrogant, and seemed to change policies whenever they wanted. Never visit.
