OYO 37411 Royal Residency

The rooms are damp, cramped, and poorly ventilated, with no AC. Hot water comes from a centralized geyser and is only available in the morning, not all day. For a non-AC room with no option for extra bedding, the price is high.

It's a handy spot, within walking distance of the railway station and bus stand, and there are other facilities nearby. The room and bathroom were clean, and the staff were pleasant and stayed open late. I only stayed the night and didn't have a bad experience, but a single bed cost quite a bit. I took it because there weren't other options at night.

At check-in they said there was a geyser, TV service, and RO water, but none of those were actually provided. The TV was there, but they kept saying the recharge was in progress and it still hadn't happened after 24 hours. There were baby cockroaches around the bed and room; they promised spray but never brought it. Staff behavior was very bad, and they took payment in advance, which left me unable to argue. We checked in at the same time the previous day, and they had said we'd get an extra hour because of our train. Then at 5 am they called our room and told us to leave by 6:10 am, changing their attitude completely. I strongly suggest avoiding this hotel. You can find better options elsewhere for 1k.

The hotel's check-in and check-out times were inappropriate, and the owner was too. Staff weren't friendly, and they wouldn't make allowances for a medical emergency. The drinking water seemed contaminated with germs and caused us stomach problems during our stay.
