The rooms weren’t that good, and the staff behaviour was the worst, especially the morning guy. There was a lot of rudeness. I changed hotels in the middle of the night after running into problems here. Hotel Anchor is right across the way, and I’d trust that place instead. Worst experience.

The receptionist was polite and showed me the room first, which was the one decent part of my three-night stay. The room itself was average, and not what I expected for the price. Lighting was usable, nothing special. The mattress was so uncomfortable my back hurt after just one night, and the AC barely seemed to cool even at 16°C. There were no towels. The wash basin was loose and shaky, too. At first the washroom smelled bad, though running the exhaust fan helped a little. AC water leaked onto the floor right outside the bathroom door, leaving it wet the whole time. The hotel is quite far inside from Kokar road, yet its rates are like hotels on the main street. Parking is right in front, along the road, with a CCTV camera, but it still didn’t feel very secure at night. It might do if you just need a roof for one night, but I’d look elsewhere for a longer stay.

Hotel Anchor next door had professional staff and was the same price, so I was glad to get there in the end. I stayed here for a long time, but the staff were low grade and didn’t know how to deal with a female guest. Their language was extremely bad, and they threatened me too. The staff didn’t feel safe at all. They called someone the manager, but he was just a waste of a person to deal with. I couldn’t speak to the owner. I regret staying here.
