The resort was a peaceful place to unwind, with warm, attentive staff who were always willing to help and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The meals were fresh, nicely served, and had a good mix of authentic Konkan flavors and classic dishes. Kokanwadi Resort gave us a genuinely enjoyable stay and a taste of Konkan hospitality.

The coastline and the beauty of the place made for a refreshing stay. I was there with my mom from the 7th to the 12th of Sep 2025, and the service and hospitality were amazing. Aare Ware beach is around 8 kms away, while ganpatupule temple/beach is around 12 kms away, with some other great beaches worth visiting too. Rohit manager was approachable and accommodating, and the staff were helpful. They made food as requested, and it tasted home-cooked. Definitely worth considering if you're planning a trip to Konkan/Ratnagiri.

The view of the surrounding hills from the terrace was the highlight for me. This place is peaceful and scenic, and the people serving there make up for its somewhat dated appearance. I stayed just one day and wished it could have been longer. I had a double bed room with AC, and they also have cottages (4 i think). If you want a busy spot with lots of activities or a city centre, this isn't for you. But if serenity, home cook food, and balcony or terrace views are what you're after, it feels like heaven on earth. Some things could be improved, but I don't want to spoil my 5 star rating :). You'll need your own transport, otherwise I wouldn't recommend staying here.

It was a great, peaceful stay, surrounded by nature and so homely it felt like being at home. The food tasted superb, but since it's a homestay, I think the charges for fish should be a little lower.
