I stayed between 15mar to 17 march 2025, and it was a very bad experience. The upstairs room is a nightmare, with banging noises all the time that make it impossible to sleep. It's very basic, with no wardrobe or table and chair. The location is far from the main attractions, and it's quite overpriced, not worth the money.

I'm writing this at 1:50 am with no electricity and no power backup. The room is non-ac, and without power it feels like being in a microwave oven. There are spiders all over the room, which makes it seem like nobody had stayed there for a long time and it hadn't been properly cleaned before I was handed the room. There's no food service either, so even for one cup of tea you have to go all the way down to the main road. The room costs 500 rupees. If you're okay with all those disadvantages, you'll have a lovely stay stay here.

VICKY, the kind manager, was friendly, helpful, and always ready to sort out any small issue right away. I stayed 12 nights and absolutely LOVED IT!!! Watching Diwali fireworks from my balcony was unforgettable. From my cozy top floor room (210), I had EXTRAORDINARY views of the Ganga, all of Laxman Jhula, and Tapovan area. It was nicely decorated, with a super comfortable bed, very clean, a great balcony, and an excellent hot shower. The rates were reasonable, and the location was very peaceful, surrounded by greenery and morning birdsong. Downstairs, the flowery garden was lovely and well kept, a small Eden! 🌻🌺🌼 🙏😊🤩🥳🌼🌺🌻 🙏🧡💛💚🇮🇳

The yoga classes and instruction at Guru Ganga Guest House were excellent, and I had a positive experience overall. But the recurring bird accidents in the yoga room have been traumatic for students, causing distress and even nightmares. Every couple of days, birds fly into the glass windows, break their necks, and die. Peacocks have also flown into the room at times, shattered the glass, and caused disruption. Students have pleaded repeatedly for action, but management still hasn't put in simple measures such as anti-bird stickers or other deterrents. The room's glass windows are a serious hazard to birds. The safety and well-being of students and wildlife need to be a priority. Urgent action is needed to prevent these collisions and make the environment peaceful and harmonious.

I loved spending time in the yoga hall and on the roof. This place felt like home, and I'm so grateful for it, especially for the owner's constant kindness and help. I'll never forget that or this amazing place! I think it's the quietest and least crowded spot in Laxman Jhula, with the best view. I recommend it! 💗
