Zostel Plus Rishikesh

We were 30 people from a corporate team, and Zostel made for a wonderful stay. The property was clean, comfortable, and well managed, and the food was delicious with a homely touch. Our host, Aditya, was especially polite and cooperative, making sure everything went smoothly and the experience was memorable for the group. Highly recommend for solo travelers and groups.

Dinner took 50 minutes to arrive, even though we were the only people in the restaurant. The room was another letdown: sandy surfaces everywhere, a dirty kettle, and beds that hadn’t been made properly. We also waited 10 hours after check-in for our keys, and piles of rubbish at the main entrance made it impossible to get the car in or out. I’d splurged on a suite for the poolside view, but as a 27-year-old who’s always on the move, I regretted the stay. Honestly, it was embarrassing.

For a quiet getaway with nature and adventure sports nearby, Zostel Plus Mohanchatti seems like a good fit. It has premium hostel comforts such as a pool and game room, along with a social atmosphere, so it could suit travelers after something different from a standard stay.

We liked the staycation enough to extend it, and enjoyed working there with the songs and the vibe around us. The hospitality was great, especially thanks to Aditya. They could also make lovely butter chicken and chilli chicken if you asked in advance.
