Mayfair World Cup Village

Apparently, the hotel cancelled two marriage functions that had been booked six months earlier, after preparations were already made, to host a Govt sponsored programme. That's highly unethical on the part of both the hotel and the convenor of the newly inserted programme. It shows little concern for the people affected, especially the families who'd arranged the weddings. Was the hotel looking for more money or political mileage, or was it just careless and stubborn toward its customers? Where are those families supposed to find a venue for their children's weddings at the last minute?

The food and service were good, though breakfast was basic, with mostly South Indian choices. The room was less comfortable than I expected: the bed was so narrow I had to sleep carefully to avoid falling off, and the first towel was threadbare until I complained and got another. The nearby waste dump also sends a bad smell into the hotel. Maybe fine for a quick stop, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay.

Whenever I travel to Rourkela, Mayfair is my favourite place to stay. I’ve tried both Mayfair hotels there and can’t pick a winner; both feel equally great. The staff, atmosphere, and food are all just awesome. I’d happily recommend Mayfair Rourkela. Keep it up!

We stopped by Mayfair world cup village for a quick breakfast. The buffet had a nice spread and felt worth the money. If you’re in or around Rourkela, a Sunday breakfast with the family is a good plan.
