I booked sanchi queen two months ahead after contacting them on WhatsApp. We confirmed on both sides, and I paid an advance. I also called the day before to confirm our arrival time. But after a long drive, I was refused the room. I guess they’d given it to a group to get more money. The two men in charge showed no empathy. I had no choice but to go to another hotel, which didn’t match my booking or the price I’d paid, and had no Wi-Fi. The facilities shown online were very different from what I found in reality. If you want reliable accommodation while traveling, avoid sanchi queen and find somewhere more trustworthy.

The amenities are a little basic, though the rooms are clean and the fan works well. The staff are really nice. It’s right next to the archeological museum and the path up to Sanchi archeological site. I’d contact them directly instead of booking through MMT.

The amenities are basic, but the location and staff made up for that. It’s budget friendly, and the food was prepared just the way we wanted. Arrvind Bhai and Sunny were wonderful hosts. We’ll visit again. Sending Sunny our love and warm regards.

The hotel is very close to the stupa. The rooms and washrooms need to be kept cleaner.

We had lunch there. The price was moderate, and the food wasn’t bad. There aren’t many places to eat while visiting Sanchi, so this is a decent option and worth a try.
