The rooms are huge, cozy, and comfortable, with a handy walk-in wardrobe area, and the view is amazing. Meghraj and his wife took great care of us and the property. The villa is beautiful and very clean, close to the city but still feels away from it. The chef was amazing, and made delicious food just as we requested. I’d love to come back in monsoon to see the views then.

We had such a good time as a family and can’t wait to return. The villa is only about 1.5 hours from mumbai and feels really relaxing. Everything was spotless, including the bathrooms, bed linens, and pool, though the water was freezing in the winter chill of Karjat. Mohan bhai and Swati didi were polite and kept the place in beautiful shape. Chef Gul Muhammad made delicious, fresh food and did a brilliant job meeting everyone’s dietary needs.

The 180 degree mountain view was amazing, and we all enjoyed both the stay and the tasty food. Housekeeping was exceptional and made everything feel comfortable.

We enjoyed our two-day family stay in the last week of December. The villa has beautiful rooms and great views of the hills, and the caretaker was very helpful and kept the rooms clean. The food was below par, though, because the usual chef was away and the replacement cook wasn’t good. It’s a great location and I’d recommend the villa.

The stay and rooms were fine, but I feel I was scammed out of 40,000 rupees just for food. Saffron stay’s service and brand were the worst.
