The Lake View Resort

The rooms themselves were decent, but the washrooms hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, and the kitchen was in horrible condition. There was no dinner ready, the rooms weren’t prepared, and proper hot water arrangements were missing. When we reached Hotel Lake View Sangla around 8 PM, staff first said there was no booking because “no one called.” They later checked the register and our booking was clearly there. It felt careless and lazy. The two staff members were rude and gave us attitude when we asked for basic things. Hot water took ages, then they gave just one bucket for six people and told us to “adjust.” There wasn’t even cold water. A very poor, disappointing stay. The owner needs to act and remove such irresponsible staff, who are ruining the hotel experience. Definitely not recommended.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was tasty and freshly made. We had a memorable stay at Lakeview Resort, Sangla, with magical mountain views when we woke up. The staff’s hospitality made us feel at home. Peaceful, scenic, and welcoming, I’d highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Sangla.

Our spotless room was beautifully decorated and had stunning mountain views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the luxury toiletries, Nespresso machine, and fluffy robes made the stay feel indulgent. The restaurant was another highlight. Breakfast had a generous, delicious buffet with options for every dietary preference. We also had dinner there one evening, and it was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The team made every effort to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend for a luxurious, relaxing, memorable visit. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was delicious and had a home cooked feel, and the offbeat location could suit someone wanting quiet away from the usual crowd. But our stay at Lake View Resort fell short of expectations. The name gives the wrong impression: there’s no actual lake view, and the property is in Kuppa, a little before Sangla rather than in Sangla itself. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned, the sheets were torn, and the toilet had no jet spray. Service was quite slow too. With better cleaning and service, the place could have potential.
