Itsy Hotels Sitara

We stayed from Oct 13 to 15, 2025, and found the hotel accessible and very nice. The rooms were spacious, neat, and clean, with the local market nearby. Its central location made it easy to get to most sightseeing places. Mr. Akshay Mane, the desk manager, stood out. He was hardworking, versatile, knows Satara well, and was always ready to help. His attitude was basically, ask and you get, and that made our stay very comfortable. We only got to enjoy breakfast one day because the restaurant was under renovation.

The parking was a headache: cars were packed so closely that someone else had to move theirs before we could get ours out. It caused needless delays for everyone. The hotel had mentioned limited parking, but the arrangement was still very inconvenient. My family and I travelled to Satara in October 2025 and booked through the Treebo Club website, which looked like the official portal. I accidentally chose Oct 23-24 instead of Oct 24-25. I noticed within a minute of paying and contacted Treebo customer care right away to ask for the dates to be corrected. They said policy didn’t allow changes, but still asked me to submit a request on WhatsApp using their template. The replies were inconsistent: first they said there were no rooms, then sent a ₹573.92 payment link to “process the date change.” I can understand refusing a request made a day or two later, but I asked immediately, and the representative even acknowledged that I’d got in touch promptly. Instead of a customer friendly solution, I was asked to pay extra. I’d cancelled a previous booking at the same property earlier in October because of a last minute emergency. When my plans came together again, I booked the same Treebo property without looking elsewhere, based on my trust in the brand and its convenience. That made the rigid response feel even worse as a returning customer. From the booking process through the stay and parking, I was disappointed with Treebo. I wouldn’t recommend it to families looking for comfort, reliability, or genuine customer support.

This hotel doesn’t allow foreign guests to stay, but Agoda lets you book a room without any notice about that policy. When we arrived, hotel staff called the management, who told us to go elsewhere. The other hotel asked for more than the rate I’d booked on Agoda. It was late, and I ended up outside overnight without a room and with no chance to check in somewhere else. “Thanks a lot” for this policy toward foreign tourists. Remove the hotel from Agoda and booking.com.

We stayed here two days ago and were welcomed with kokam Sarbat. The room was neat and very clean, and Mr. Akshay gave us excellent room service. Thanks to Itsy Sitara at Satara and Treebo for a good stay.
