The manager or owner Sheshuji and the helper Suraj were caring and honest, and made me feel at home. The room matched what I’d expect from a three-star room, and I’d paid for that level, so I wasn’t expecting five stars. It’s within walking distance of the station. Still, the landmark should be City Light Circle, not “near the Snow World.” The wrong landmark sent my auto driver all around asking people for directions. It took almost an hour to find the hotel, and the fare was 500/-₹ instead of 50/-₹.

The lift was unreliable, so we had to use the stairs to get down. The hotel is on the fourth floor of a busy commercial building. We booked through OYO, but it took a long time for them to provide a room. Hygiene was poor: the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week, with dirt and hair on the floor, a broken light, and a door that wouldn’t close. For the 1500 I paid, I really wish they’d given me a better room.

They charged me extra even though I’d paid online. At first, they put me in a storeroom with only a cot, no sheet or blanket, no TV, no AC, nothing. When I complained through OYO, the owner said it was his hotel and I’d have to pay more if I wanted to stay. I was charged another 300 to move to a different dirty room, and 300 more to turn on the AC. The place was filthy and badly maintained, with cockroaches and ants all over the room. There wasn’t a single hole for air circulation in the room, so staying without AC was impossible. The bathroom had no ventilation either, leaving smells trapped inside. What a waste of money. Don’t book here, and please remove it from online booking sites because they charge extra even after you’ve paid online.

I couldn't get any sleep there. Little rats were making noise in the ceiling, and the lights and power kept flickering and going up and down, which felt scary. The room they gave me, and the other rooms I saw, had no proper ventilation and smelled so bad I felt like throwing up. I've booked Oyo for a couple of years, but this was the worst experience I've had. The room service guy was unbelievably arrogant and had an attitude I'll never forget. Please don't try to stay there.
