The hotel has lovely views of the river and mountains, and you can enjoy a bonfire and stargazing too. The rooms are decent, well planned, and there seem to be plenty of them. Food was good, served as a buffet, and the service was amazing. We had electricity all night, heaters, and heated blankets. One thing to know is that the approach is challenging: once you reach the area, there's another 500 m to 1 km to walk, and running water wasn't available.

Hotel Batseri is about 8 km from Sangla on the road to Chitkul, so it feels secluded but is still reachable. Its spot beside the Baspa River, surrounded by apple orchards, is peaceful and scenic. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, listening to the river, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and a decent size, although some amenities were basic and could be better. Parking is around 500 meters away, so there's a short walk to the hotel. The restaurant was okay, but the food wasn't anything special. The beautiful riverside views and calm atmosphere made up for those small inconveniences.

The staff were friendly and ready to help with a smile, and the food was delicious with plenty of variety. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. We also had a fantastic view of the snow-covered mountains. A 10/10 stay for us, and highly recommended if you're visiting the area.

Hotel Batseri's wooden interiors give it an old Himachali feel, and the staff made us feel like family. They were always smiling and helpful, and the food was simple, tasty, and made with heart. Beside the Baspa River, you hear the water constantly, with fresh mountain air, birdsong, and a lovely valley view to wake up to. Evenings by the river or beneath the stars were unforgettable. It felt like more than a place to sleep, especially if you love nature, quiet, and a bit of peace.

The service was superb and the food was delicious, freshly made. After years of travelling through mountains and valleys, this is somewhere I'd like to return to. It's beautifully set among apple orchards, with the Baspa river flowing right in front. Loved my stay.
