The setting is lovely, with greenery all around and a water reservoir right in front. Our room was maintained, and the breakfast tiffin we ordered was really tasty. But the property upkeep and service both fell short. The kitchen wasn't operating, so we had to order food in advance.

We visited last September 2025 and found Orchid Valley Resort a lovely place to unwind with family or friends. The peaceful surroundings and nature-friendly atmosphere helped us relax and shake off some stress. The service was excellent, and getting around the resort felt smooth. Highly recommended 👍

Monkeys on the balcony in the morning will wake everyone up! The swimming pool was an amazing part of our stay, and the place has a pleasant, almost jungle-like feel. It works well for families, groups of bachelors, and kids too. The kids' park could use some maintenance, though. We had an amazing time overall 👍

The atmosphere could be kept neater, but the setting is hard to beat. Right by the banks of Gundar and at the foot of the Western Ghats, it has beautiful natural surroundings on all sides. Staying there felt top notch because of that serene location.

The location is the one real plus. Wi-Fi was unusable, with nothing loading, and mobile signal was almost never there. The rooms had only very basic bathroom facilities. Food choices were limited to Idly, dosa and roti, with no other food service or bar. The restaurant didn't respond properly, and the TV remotes were unreliable. There were very few channels available too.
