The host was really friendly. This clean, cute, homely one bedroom apartment has one double bed and a single, and it’s in the main Laitumkrah area. It can fit up to four guests. The kitchen has nearly all the basics you’d need if you want to cook.

There are plenty of necessities within 100 meters, since it’s right in the main laitumkhrah area. The one bedroom apartment has a double bed and a single, and would work well for a short visit or a longer one. It’s clean and hygienic, and the host is polite, friendly, and easy to reach. Cooking basics and equipment are provided. Two downsides: speeding motorbikes on the main road can be noisy late at night, and the lounge is very compact with a small TV. That didn’t bother me personally, but it might bother some people.

There’s a quiet balcony where you can sit or leave clothes to dry. Inside, there’s a spacious room and hall, a kitchen with all amenities, and a clean toilet. A decent, clean place to stay in the city.

I stayed for more than a week in this neat, clean one bedroom flat. It’s in a prime spot, right near all the facilities. The owner is a very humble and cooperative lady. If you’re going to Shillong, just book it. Highly recommended.
