Dew Drop In

The balcony view made my mornings extra special, and I slept well in a very comfortable bed. My room was spacious, spotless and well maintained, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were warm from the moment I arrived and consistently attentive, polite and eager to help. Check-in went smoothly, and I liked the elegant feel of the lobby. I had a wonderful stay at Dew Drop In.

The hosts welcomed me warmly and made me feel like part of their family from the moment I arrived. This charming homestay was a cozy haven, carefully and beautifully designed. Set in a peaceful corner surrounded by nature, it combined rustic charm with modern comfort and exceeded all my expectations.

We were meant to stay for two nights, but a train delay meant we arrived a day late and only got one night there. I’d visited Shillong a few years earlier and was really glad I picked this place. The room and bathroom were both spacious, and the first-floor balcony had a lovely mountain view. The lounge and dining area were especially nicely decorated. The caretakers were polite and efficient, and the cook made a breakfast and dinner I really enjoyed. They were professional and made sure we were comfortable. I’d happily recommend the homestay, and hope they keep welcoming guests so warmly.

Bani was especially attentive, sharing tips on local attractions and making sure we had what we needed. The food was delicious and had that homemade taste, and the linens and other essentials were thoughtfully chosen and added to our comfort. The place was clean throughout, with tasteful, simple decor and a calm atmosphere that gave us a break from city bustle. My wife and I stayed two nights at Dew Drops Home Stay in Shillong. It felt more like a home than a traditional hotel, and we were warmly welcomed. The rates were reasonable compared with hotels, with no drop in quality. We had a lovely stay and would like to come back.
