The hotel was noticeably clean, and we preferred staying here even though it's far from Police Bazar. We booked through MMT and paid 912 per day for a room for three friends. We later found out the listed price was 2000 per night, so we got a 1100 discount. It was much cheaper than other hotels in Shilong.
The hotel is quiet and cozy, with good, spacious rooms and nice staff. It's some distance from Shillong's main point, Police Bazar, so it suits you if you're okay staying away from the center. I'd recommend it for families.
We were an all-women group and stayed three nights, though we were out from 6 in the morning until 8pm and mainly used the room to sleep. The rooms were large and clean, and the Madam who looked after us was polite. They brought a hot kettle right away when we asked. The issue was breakfast on our last day: after a long discussion, they gave us only plain parathas with sauce and tea, then eventually a piece of bread with an omelette. We regretted spending time waiting for that bread.
The room was clean, well kept, and as expected, both the bedroom and bathroom were very good. It worked well for our family stay. Police Bazar is a little far away, and arranging restaurant food can be difficult. The hotel can provide food if you order ahead. Happy with the stay.
Sumit made the trip memorable with his hospitality and was always available to help me. The rooms had all the amenities shown in the pictures. It's a great place to unwind on a trip, and I'd be happy to visit again. Highly recommended if you want to stay near the main junction.
