Itsy Hotels Shillong Tower Guesthouse

I spent six nights here, and for a budget stay in Shillong it was a good experience, largely thanks to the staff. Safal Biswa was especially kind and helpful, and responded promptly when I pointed out stains on the bedsheets by changing them. Staff: 100/10. Room: 7/10. Location: 10/10. The property still needs some attention. The sheets should be properly cleaned and stain-free, the bathroom had a strong odor during my stay, and the old-looking walls could use renovation.

The staff were super nice and helpful, and the location made getting around the city easy. It's very close to the main market, so it's a great place to stay while visiting Shillong.

The location is good, but the hotel itself wasn't great. It's an old building with poor maintenance and average service. The food wasn't good either, and half the items on the menu weren't available. There were Gutka stains in the washroom.

The rooms are decent and the service is great. It's an alright hotel, though the bathrooms need improvement. The photos of the front aren't accurate.
