The room smelled of alcohol and cigarettes, and the sheets had holes in them. The place was dirty, and the beds were really uncomfortable. I don’t get why it’s rated 4.1 stars.
2/10
The receptionist was the only good part. The bed hurt and made a loud noise, the blanket wasn’t proper, and there wasn’t enough water in the bathroom. There were so many bugs, and people in the next room were drinking and making a racket at midnight. Worst homestay. I don’t recommend it.
10/10
We really liked the service, and Habil is a great guy. They could improve the AC. We’re planning to visit Shillong again soon.
2/10
There wasn’t even water in the bathroom taps, a basic amenity. When I brought it up, the owner said we had spoiled his mood. I was paying the full rent for a service, so I don’t see how asking for water is too much. This was the worst stay ever. Don’t book this property, you’ll be disappointed.
10/10
The food was really good, and the receptionist and workers were so friendly. A comfortable place.
