Dining at Zodiac was a highlight. The food's quality, taste, and presentation were consistently excellent. Main Chef Mir Saikia delivered a remarkable meal with perfectly balanced flavors, and junior chefs Ratul and Sahil showed their dedication in every dish. Bristi from the F&B team handled service beautifully, with warmth, attention, and professionalism. Doli, Popi, and Mousam kept housekeeping impeccable and made sure we felt cared for. Thanks as well to Mr. Rajat L Das, General Manager, for leading such a committed team and maintaining high hospitality standards across the hotel. We stayed in the spacious, comfortable Executive Premium Room, which was well maintained. At Xcelsior, the comfort and service exceeded our expectations. We had an excellent stay and look forward to coming back.

They don't write down guest instructions, and they aren't punctual. I waited nearly 30 minutes at reception and missed my itinerary for the day. Calling it 24/7 service is a misnomer. The service was the worst, amenities and promptness were missing, and I wouldn't recommend staying here with family.

The hotel was comfortable, with good rooms and facilities, and I'm happy with it overall. Receptionist Aman Ali was hospitable and helped make our stay comfortable. The restaurant Zodiac was a little slow with service.

The restaurant staff and food were the only good parts. When I arrived for a room booked through booking.com, I was asked to cancel and book offline, and had to pay the full amount at check-in. The staff were extremely rude during this process. There were no tea or coffee sachets in the room; when I asked, they gave me two Nescafe sachets and two uncovered tea bags. The Wi-Fi was weak. At checkout, they took so long to prepare the bill, as if asking for it was unimportant. I also only found out in the morning that breakfast wasn't complimentary. Worst experience ever.
