We spent three days and two nights at XSTY Travellers Hostel, Shillong, during our field study. The peaceful setting meant no outside noise at night, and the warm, cozy rooms kept out the cold. Our bunk-bed rooms let the whole group stay together instead of being split up, and they were pretty and comfortable. The washrooms were clean and hygienic. We also enjoyed the indoor carrom and table tennis, playing Uno together, and watching shows and listening to music on the TV in the restaurant. The cute frames and messages on the walls gave the place a friendly touch. Food was amazing, with a comforting homemade feel. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Santosh Bhaiya, who was sweet, approachable, and always ready to help. The bonfire was a memorable part of the stay, we sang, danced, and had a joyful time together.

The decor and interior were lovely, with careful details in every corner. The lighting, colors, and design made the hotel feel warm, homey, and stylish. My cozy bunker bed was comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with clean, soft bedding that made for a good rest after exploring the city. The location was stunning, surrounded by Shillong's natural beauty, with peaceful views and a cool breeze in the morning. I was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, and the stay made my trip unforgettable.

Mr. Santosh was welcoming and so helpful from the start. He went out of his way to make things run smoothly and help guests feel at home, which made a real difference to my visit. The hostel was clean and comfortable, with a friendly vibe that made it easy to relax and meet people. I had a great stay, would happily come back, and definitely recommend it to other travelers.

I was there with friends for two nights, and the calm, peaceful location away from crowded residential areas was a plus. It's close to NEIGHRIMS and easy to reach. We liked the play and common area on the fourth floor. The rooms were clean and good, and the food tasted homemade. Staff could help 24x7 in an emergency. Santhosh was especially helpful from booking the rooms through checkout, including guiding us on places to visit. You can contact them for any help you need.

Santosh was a great host, always quick to respond and helpful, and he made everything run smoothly during my stay. The place itself was clean and comfortable, in a convenient yet peaceful location, and it matched the description. I had a wonderful time here and would definitely recommend it.
