We found the homestay to be incredible value. Shivi, our host, was friendly, knew his stuff, and had a great sense of humour. The rooms were spacious and spotless, the views spectacular, and the food first rate. We liked being away from the crowds around the mall so much that we spent our second day reading on the sunny terrace and taking in the view, without going into town.

The owner is a very nice person, and we had an excellent experience with great food. It has a royal feel at home stay prices that are very reasonable. The rooms are clean and spacious, and it's very good for families. From the room and terrace, you can watch the rising sun, with rain clouds moving over the green hills right in front. Foreigners love this place.

The food at the guest house was amazing, and this ended up being my favourite place in India. The rooms were comfortable, well looked after, and had a wonderful mountain view. Shimla's main town is only a short bus ride away. A great place to stay if you're in Shimla.

It's pet friendly, which was the best part for me. The host, Shivi, is very friendly and will do everything to make your stay in Shimla a good one. The rooms are huge and very clean, and the view is spectacular. This is probably the best home stay I've been at, whether compared with a hotel or hostel. It's away from the busy, chaotic Mall road area, which may make commuting an issue, but shared taxis and buses are available. If you're after a peaceful trip, do go here.
