Marley Villa

It has a real homely feel, with plenty of space for kids to play both outside and in the living area. Rooms stay warm with room heaters and bed warmers, and the staff were helpful when we chose meals and breakfast. The food was excellent too. Mall Road is a 25-minute walk or 10 minutes by car. A great place for families or groups. Just book it, don't overthink it.

There's a garden, open seating, plenty of parking, and a nice view at this well-kept property. It's near the PWD office, Chhota Shimla, Knollswood, Police Headquarter Shimla, the Secretariat, and the CM Residence. Bookings are available online through various sites. Mall Road Shimla isn't far if you enjoy a long walk. The road there is uphill, so coming back is very easy. I'd take it slowly and enjoy the views.

Marley Villa has a heritage look, with pictures in each room that tell the story of Shimla. The rooms were spotless and well maintained, the setting was breathtaking, and the food was delicious. The helpful, generous staff, including the chef, paid attention to detail and gave excellent service. You can rent one room or all 8 rooms in the villa, which makes it a good option for a weekend with family or friends. I was thoroughly impressed by the property and its surroundings, and had an unforgettable stay. I'd highly recommend Marley Villa for a luxurious visit to Shimla.

Getting to the property from the main road involves a bit of a steep climb, and navigation could be tricky for a new driver. Once there, we loved the mesmerizing view and the many sit-outs where we could enjoy it. The staff made amazing food too. We stayed two nights in this heritage property and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
