Half the property was still under construction, and the rooms and service were both awful. The hotel is hard to find, and getting there means driving down a very steep slope with no side barricades. You need to be an experienced driver to make it. The owner and his wife were especially rude. Please don’t waste your money here. They charge extra for everything.
The only small catch is the steep roads, which take a little getting used to. Otherwise, this was a peaceful place among scenic mountains, away from crowds, and we found it really relaxing. The rooms were spacious and clean, with nice balconies. The food was very good, the staff were helpful, and the property was well maintained in a nice location. I’d recommend it over other city accommodations.
We only stayed briefly, but really liked The Himsutra and would recommend it. It’s in a great spot on the outskirts of Shimla. The staff were warm and helpful from the moment we arrived, and our large, comfortable room had a lovely view.
Clean rooms, tasty food, and a lovely view through the windows. The hotel is easy on the pocket, and the service was top quality. Their motto says it feels like home, and that was true for me. I had one of my best stays there. Loved it, and I’ll be back soon. Kudos 👍
The people working there were kind and caring, always ready to help, and the service was excellent. Our room looked out over a beautiful valley, so waking up to that Shimla scenery was a real treat. Finding good rooms at a decent price in SHIMLA is tough, which made this a great experience.
