Starlit Suites Shirdi

I paid ₹9,000 for two days, and the service was extremely disappointing. The floor was very dirty, there was no room service, and we had to ask again and again just to get a single bottle of drinking water. They did call, but only well after check-in time. I appreciate the idea of having a large 2BHK space, but the property is being maintained awfully, with no sense of service or cleanliness. Basic things like a working hot water kettle, drinking water, a clean floor, and at least a bucket and mug shouldn't take much to provide. I'm sharing this to describe what happened and help management improve the guest experience.

The staff were helpful, though at times they seemed unable to help. We booked through Makemytrip while looking for a 4 Star hotel, but there was no locker, and the promised afternoon Hi tea wasn't provided. The hotel offered a drop-off at the Temple, but no pickup. Breakfast hours were 7:30 to 10:30, yet nothing was ready at 7:30. There were no hand towels or hair dryer. Hot water was only available after calling the front desk, and it was warm rather than hot. Wifi cut off whenever you left the room. They supplied a regular towel as a substitute, but it was taken from our room while we were away for Darshan.

It's a bad experience. The hotel is far from Shirdi temple in a very isolated spot, with abandoned buildings nearby, and after 6 pm you can't go outside. There's no public pick-and-drop service. The rooms weren't clean, especially the washrooms, and the bedsheets had spots. Service was very poor, so we ordered outside food each time and even had to take the cutlery ourselves. There was no hot water in the shower, and the staff weren't professional.

Getting to the property was difficult, but the staff made our stay pleasant. The room was lovely, the service from the boys working there was good, and everyone was hospitable. GM kirti, ganesh, and nitin were especially kind.
