The property has plenty of open space for kids to run around and play, so they don't get bored. The cottages are cozy and well maintained, and the whole place feels calm and refreshing, surrounded by greenery. It was clean and peaceful, just right for relaxing mornings, evening walks, and spending quality time in nature with family. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful resort. A great choice for a relaxing family getaway, highly recommended.

We came with family and friends mainly because the property advertised a swimming pool, but the water was dirty and the pool was covered in algae. We asked the owner to clean it and got no proper response. The owner's manner was rude and unprofessional, and the photos online were completely different from what we found. The rooms were unhygienic, with spiders and insects inside. The area around the property had jungle animals and insects, with reports of snakes and scorpions near the rooms, so the premises didn't feel safe for families. The drive in was unsafe because the road was in very poor condition, and the area had no night lights and was totally dark. A disappointing stay at Vatika Resorts Soghi Shimla. Not recommended for tourists or families, and a total waste of time and money.

The bathroom was dirty and the taps were broken. The cupboards were broken too, and there wasn't even a proper mirror for such an expensive room. The bedsheets and pillows were poor quality, and the food was the worst. The hotel staff and owner were abusive and uncooperative, with awful hospitality. There was a fear of snakes and insects in the jungle, and no insect repellent was provided, so I suffered a lot. The swimming pool was dirty, and when we asked to have it cleaned, they said they couldn't. I expect the owner will say they can't find a booking under my name, as they've done to other reviewers. FRAUD. This was a very bad experience, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Don't visit, ever, at any cost.

The property itself is good, but the service was pathetic and disrespectful. At 9:45 PM, the unprofessional staff switched off all the lights without warning and left us in the dark. I can't recommend this resort to anyone hoping to enjoy time with friends. Maybe people who like being in a bad mood would enjoy it. I'd give the staff zero in everything.
