For our overnight stop, the room was decent, with a clean toilet and a geyser. Staff were just okay, not especially welcoming. We reached NJP around 1 am and had to call reception at about 2 am because the main gate was shut, even though we'd booked by phone. Hotel Baidyanath's main advantage is its location, just a five-minute walk from NJP station, which is handy for late arrivals. They charged a little more than I expected, and you can find other basic, decent hotels nearby for reasonable prices.

Reception had good people, and the check-in and check-out hours were flexible. Since it's close to the railway station, it's a good place to spend the night before heading to Darjeeling or gangtok.

The best hotel close to new jalpaiguri railway station.

The rooms were nice and worth the price, and you can bargain too. I stayed overnight, just a five-minute walk from Njp railway station. Mosquitoes can disturb your sleep, so it's better to get a mosquito coil or All out liquid from Hotel service.

It's a basic hotel. The price should be 600-700 inr.
