We came from Assam and had a lovely stay at Paro Residency. The secure parking was a real comfort, and the staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. Our room was very clean and well looked after. It’s a great residency for anyone visiting the area, and I’d highly recommend it.
I’ve stayed here more than 15 times, but they still wouldn’t make even a small adjustment to my food. The manager doesn’t accept complaints or feedback, and his problem-solving is very poor. The food quality needs work, too. The rooms are clean and good, and the price is affordable.
We got to enjoy the trade fair at Kanchanjunga stadium, which is close to the hotel. We were on our way back home, so I wasn’t especially interested in the stay, but the hotel was fine.
We had already told the hotel a day ahead that we needed to check out at 5:00am for an early flight. The main gate was locked, and there was nobody at reception or around to open it. It took three or four calls to get a response, and we reached the airport an hour late. That’s a failure of responsibility, especially since the receptionist should be there. The rooms themselves were good.
The hotel is good value and deserves more recognition. The service was very good, and the rooms were nice. I’d recommend it for business travel.
