We came all the way from Italy, and the natural setting at Panorama Resort in Asensol really took us by surprise. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed, with modern facilities and a local feel. Staff were warm and helpful throughout. There’s plenty here for different kinds of trips, from the pools and amusement park attractions to restaurants serving Indian and international food. The resort also has a peaceful feel, with lovely views of the surrounding scenery. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back.

Mr Mukherjee deserves a special mention for the hospitality. We were 32 senior citizens celebrating our school’s Golden Jubilee reunion, the 1976 batch, and stayed for two days. The package was good, the food and lodging were hygienic, and the staff were humble and provided good service.

The room service and food were good, but a couple of things left us disappointed. The extra bed we paid for turned out to be just a single mattress. Also, the resort’s official site said a third guest could stay in the room with an extra bed for an added cost. The pool wasn’t available to all guests, only those staying on the villa side could use it, and photography wasn’t allowed there.

I stopped in for a meal, and the food was good for the price. The restaurant’s ambience, furniture, and cutlery were above average. Staff were polite, attentive, and quick. A good food stop in Chittaranjan.

A clean, nicely decorated place, with a swimming pool and a large garden. The staff were well behaved, and the food was good. There’s ample parking and it’s close to National Highway. Villas are available near the pool, and the property has CCTV surveillance.
