The stay ended with a major accident, after which staff refused restitution and wouldn’t provide the CCTV footage for our records. When we wouldn’t pay the outstanding amounts until we got the footage, they also refused to help. We had to carry our suitcases up the whole cliff while handling an infant. When we complained, staff told us it was our fault for bringing a child there. Over 4 days, I had several disrespectful interactions, and that treatment wasn’t acceptable or normal. The management backed and encouraged it, both in person and by sharing false narratives in replies to posts. We’d come with friends and family hoping for a beautiful, relaxing getaway. The property is beautiful and on a cliff, but access is difficult and this wasn’t made clear up front on the website or in listings. You have to descend steeply to the beach, then take a buggy for 10 minutes or climb another steep slope. From inside the property, the restaurant and rooms are also reached only by steep slopes or stairs. That might usually be fine, but we had infants with us and it made access and comfort much harder. If we’d known, this wouldn’t have been our first choice. Some promised package experiences also never happened because of “scheduling issues” that weren’t fixed. TLDR, one of the worst resort experiences in Goa. Staff mistreated us over several days, blamed us for it, and it all ended in a huge showdown.

The team looked after us so well, and the service was excellent. We especially want to thank Munnar Form for taking such good care of us. We loved the beach, pool, and lounge, and the food was fresh and excellent. Our house was beautiful and blended perfectly with nature, with amazing greenery all around. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The meals were a highlight for our group, fresh, nourishing, and delicious, and everyone looked forward to them. I hosted a storytelling retreat at Cabo Serai, and the setting worked beautifully for what we wanted to create. We had a wonderful art workshop, dreamy nature hikes, and a special dinner on the beach. The surroundings encouraged creativity, connection, and reflection. The team was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They went out of their way to help everyone feel comfortable, so the stay felt personal. The cottages are thoughtfully built and beautiful, surrounded by nature. Waking up to birdsong and walking down to the ocean each morning felt like a gift. The property sits on a quiet hill overlooking the ocean, and its design makes it easy to slow down and breathe. Everything about our time there felt special. I’ll be back myself and plan to host more retreats there.

Working remotely from the jungle was a pleasant surprise. We expected connectivity problems, but the internet was pretty good, and my office view was the forest. This is the best hotel we’ve experienced in India so far. The staff are impressively organized, and they cleaned our room twice a day without us having to ask, while we were at lunch or at the beach. Very convenient. You’re right in nature, with the beach a wonderful five-minute walk down the hill. Birds, monkeys, and other lovely animals are all around. The chef’s food is amazing and changes every day. If you get up early enough, you might see dozens of peacocks flying among the palm trees on the way to the beach. Magical.
