Garden Estate - Palolem

They helped us book a taxi and rent a scooter, and provided all the necessary amenities. The place was very clean and well located for getting to both Patnem and Palolem. Great stay!

The apartments are beautifully designed, with lots of light and ventilation and a real sense of space. The greenery makes the place feel quiet and serene. Getting to Palolem, Colomb, and Patnem Beaches is a pleasant leisurely walk, and there are plenty of good food spots nearby to choose from. In my opinion, this is the best apartment stay in Canacona, a great place for a holiday.

We left after just one night and still had to pay a 10% cancellation fee. Keep in mind that full payment is due on arrival. With a rental scooter, this could be a good choice for a longer stay, but it wasn't right for us. The apartment is large and clean, and the pool was nice, though there were too many leaves in it. I cleaned them myself, after which it was usable. The hotel isn't very well maintained: the kitchen equipment was dirty and there were no drinking glasses. The large fridge smelled bad and had to be left open when there was no power. The washing machine worked and was useful to have. The bathroom was nice and the shower pressure was strong, but water ran across the whole bathroom. We got only one towel for three people, though it was a good one. The walk to the beach takes about 12 minutes from the room along a dirt path to the south end of Palolem beach. Wi-Fi worked but was weak, so it was only useful in the living room. The LCD TV had many international channels, and all the other appliances worked. There was AC in both the living room and bedroom. The bed had a hard mattress.

The owner of the apartment is Jonathan. We stayed for a week and worked from here, with no issues: the Wi-Fi and power backup were good. It's a clean, nice apartment with basic things all provided, including a washing machine, induction cooker, fridge, utensils, hand wash, towels, pillows, bedsheet, and toiletries. Palolem and Patnem beaches are within walking distance.
