Niraamaya Private Residences Benaulim

We had all four rooms for four days, and the whole family, kids included, enjoyed it. The place feels like a private home, and taking all four rooms means the resort is yours. It faces the beach, the staff were very courteous, and the food was AWESOME. I’m grateful to the sales team for recommending it, especially Miss Dakshya Shetty. I think it may be the best resort villa in Goa.

There’s a cosy little cottage by the beach that makes a nice guest hangout, with big lawns leading down to it. The pool villa is spacious and peaceful, and every room has a sea view through large windows and glass doors. It felt like a luxurious place to stay with family or friends. Highly recommended.

We booked through the Niraamaya site three months ahead for October 2023 at a discount, since Make my trip showed a higher price. Then, just ten days before we were due to travel, Niraamaya called to cancel, saying rain had damaged the property. That put us in a very difficult spot with two infants and non-refundable tickets. We had to book another place on a different site, reluctantly, because we’d been hoping for the luxury we don’t usually get. I can’t help wondering whether they gave the villa to someone paying more and cancelled ours to make extra money, though I don’t know that for sure. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t trust Niraamaya.

Had a brilliant birthday here. It’s quaint and picturesque, right by the beach. The menu’s small, but there are plenty of shacks within walking distance.
