The outdoor seating area is lovely and romantic at night. It’s shared, but spacious enough to find a quiet corner. We stayed at Turiya villa for a few days and found it comfortable, with great conversations. The rooms are tastefully done, including the tree branch in the room. We chose Rohini because we wanted an attached bathroom. Some rooms share one, so it’s worth asking when booking. We usually go for home stays to avoid the commercial hotel feel, and this place suited us. The people were friendly and the staff were great. Sandesh has plenty of stories about Goan village life and culture to share over breakfast. There’s a good collection of books and travel magazines for relaxing and reading between beach trips. It isn’t on the beach, so you’ll need a rental scooter or rickshaw, which are mostly available, to reach the beautiful beaches within a 10-30 minute ride. Nearby Palolem has great places to eat, and food delivery apps are an option if you’d rather relax at the villa.

The beach is only 2 km away, and there’s an auto stand just a short walk from Turiya Villa, so getting around was easy. I had a calm, relaxing stay in a homely place surrounded by nature. The rooms have lovely handpicked decor, and Sandesh and the team made sure we were comfortable the whole time. I’d happily recommend it for a peaceful break.

Waking up to the green garden each day made our four days here feel restorative. Turiya villas has several shared spaces to spend time in, and the whole place felt like a dream. Sandeep’s heritage interiors have a magical quality, while the staff’s warm care made it feel like home. Everyone was generous, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. If you’re after peace, comfort, good breakfast, and a homely atmosphere, this is a lovely find. It brought to mind an older, more royal Goa, when SUSEGAD was taken seriously ☺️☺️☺️.

The quiet courtyard gave the villa a lovely sense of calm, and the interiors show real care in their detail and taste. We came hoping for a Portuguese colonial style house, and Turiya Villa was just what we wanted. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff were attentive and caring. The owner was helpful too, with good suggestions for things to see nearby. A great fit for anyone who likes antiques, art, and places with their own character.

Being so close to a busy market town, I expected more noise, but this was a quiet escape. We spent five nights in a beautiful oasis, with lovely food, rooms, gardens, and personal service. Sunita welcomed us warmly from the start and shared useful advice and recommendations, so it soon felt like home. We had a perfect time and met some wonderful people.
