The temple is within walking distance, and our room was very neat and clean. The residency was very good overall, and the staff were helpful.

There are plenty of little eateries and confectionery shops just outside, and most occupants seemed to be pilgrims. The hotel sits by Gate 4 of the temple, right in a busy marketplace. Parking is limited to three cramped spots. With the temple and market so busy and close, the rooms can feel a little suffocating. If a larger room is available and you want more space, try the larger one on the third floor.

For 2.15K per night, KPR Residency has rooms that are okay in size, not big, and the cleaning was better. The temple is only about a 200m walk away.

That was the best stay I’ve ever had.

I booked the deluxe room online through Make my trip for 1600, while its actual price is about 2150. The room was clean, and I appreciated how well it was maintained. It’s just a few steps from Kalahasthi temple gate one, and I felt it was worth the money. I loved the place. Maybe it was quiet because we came on a weekday, checking in Friday and leaving Saturday.
