The food was delicious and had that home-away-from-home feel. We booked one night but ended up staying four. Mr Shakeel, the houseboat owner, was very kind and helped arrange a car around Srinagar and Pahalgam. The location and service were both superb, and he was always helpful. I highly recommend this houseboat.

Mr.Shakeel personally looked after the guests and made sure breakfast and dinner were served on time. He asked how we wanted the meals prepared, and when we said we needed pure vegetarian food, he made us delicious dishes. We stayed two nights at Khar Palace house boat as part of our Amarnadh Yatra, on our first visit to Srinagar. I recommend it for a pleasant stay and good food.

My friend recommended Khar palace group of house boat, and it felt like a home away from home. The food was delicious, and the staff were very nice. Mr Shakeel, the owner, was ready to help guests and also arranged a car for us at a cheap rate. Staying there was awesome.

I booked one night at kharpalace houseboat and stayed for two more. The rooms were clean, and the bathroom even had a bath tub. They serve homemade food, which made me feel like I was in my own home. The location was really nice, and the staff were very helpful. I highly recommend this house boat.

We expected to spend just one night at Kharpalace group of house boat, but stayed three. The food was very good, and Rashid and Bilal were really nice to us. The owner was caring too.
