Opera Inn by OYO Rooms

I’ve visited Kashmir with my family many times, and I stay at opera inn every time. I feel safe and comfortable there, and the staff are helpful. The service is great and makes it feel like home. The AC and hot water both work 24*7, and it’s good value for money.

The room was roomy and comfortable, and I didn’t hear street noise at night. The premises were well kept and had a relaxed feel. I stayed three nights and really enjoyed it, especially the exceptionally kind, attentive staff. Breakfast was nice, with several options that were all quite good. I’d happily stay here again if I return to the area.

I was really impressed by the hospitality and the respectful way guests are treated. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in so far. If you visit, book a package that includes breakfast and dinner. The food here is top notch.

The staff were exceptionally polite, courteous, and helpful, and dinner and breakfast were decent, though not outstanding. But as a frequent traveler, I found my stay at Opera Inn deeply disappointing. The hotel is past its prime, with a shabby, poorly maintained room showing clear wear. The old bed linen was dirty and smelled unpleasant, and the room felt stuffy and unclean. The washroom was dirty and had a persistent bad smell, making it uncomfortable to use. Most concerning, there were bed bugs, which made the night very uncomfortable and significantly disrupted our sleep. Despite the staff’s good service, the property falls well short of what I’d expect from a three-star hotel. It needs major improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and hygiene to meet basic expectations.
